This is what has been occupying my time for several weeks! This is a logo for a woman I met while visiting my dad in Arizona. She was very sweet, and we ended up talking for a long time about animals and pets, and the impact they have on our lives as human beings. She hired me to do this logo for her business, incorperating a cornucopia (symbolizing abundance) and a bluebird of happiness (symbolizing freedom and happiness).

I tried a new technique with this one. I started off with a monochrome prismacolor marker drawing using eggshell, blondewood, putty and 50% cool grey. After scanning, I set the entire thing to multiply in photoshop, and painted in photoshop underneath the marker drawing. I've done this with graphite before, but the markers works much better and is much quicker.
